Spirit & Story Sacred Writing Workshop

We all have a story within us, right now, with the potential to heal.

What medicine do you carry in the tales of your becoming--your rites, your challenges, your grief, your growth?

What stories do you feel called to share--by dreams, secrets or even the press of fear?

Where have you longed to use your voice, empower your vision and bring your words to light?

We need each other's stories, and the time has come for us to share in the telling, nourish in the creating and invest in the birth of our stories to life.

In this five week class we work with a process I call Spirited Story. Through the use of ceremonial inquiry, offering, clearing the channel, writing and sacred sharing we will craft together inspired storytelling in collaborative community.

I offer--for the first time ever-- my own, multi-step method for channeling story and bringing work to fruition. We explore different genres and generative exercises for seeing stories to completion. In a selection of crafted stories, poems and essays we seek for the clue--or klew--the spool of Ariadne's thread, weaving in the labyrinth of our own tales, confronting our fears, doubts and other barriers along the myth path of writing.

At the end of this workshop you will have a body of creative work, a circle of companions and clear steps to complete and share your writing with the world.

Dates, Times and Course Structure

This generative class is now available for self-study with Wild Soul School Community membership.

We also have a live critique workshop group beginning in the fall. You do not need to have completed the class to join the workshop. Information and orientation for the live workshop group is in the classroom--register to join. The workshop group is nonlinear and may be joined at any time.

Writing is my love and my vocation. Even in the midst of my deepest illness I have been in relational devotion to myth and story. This is the first writing intensive workshop I have offered since my severe ME/CFS began in 2016, and I am SO honored and delighted to collaborate and co-create in community once again.
